× Join Canadian actor, comedian, and founding member of The Kids in the Hall, Kevin McDonald this weekend at The Improv Centre for 2 improv & sketch based workshops. Sunday August 25th 10:30am-2:30pm:"One Line Premise" $150 In this workshop, you'll dive deep into the world of comedy writing, focusing on crafting hilarious sketches from one-line premises. Each student must bring in a one-line premise for a comedy sketch, such as "What if a guy was $10 short of being a millionaire?" Together, you'll dissect each premise, exploring its comedic potential and brainstorming ideas to flesh it out into a full scene. With Kevin's expert guidance, students will learn how to structure scenes, develop comedic characters, and build engaging storylines. Students will have the opportunity to take their premise home and write a full comedy sketch based on it which they can then get feedback on from Kevin. *This workshop is a writing workshop and we will not be improvising or performing. 18+ Only
